EPISODE ONE - THE REALITY OF PORN

EPISODE ONE RELEASES SEPTEMBER 24, 2025
We might worry about porn and what it’s doing to our sex lives. We could blame it for sexual assault rates, and the burgeoning Gen Z gender divide. It’s definitely a growing issue, and one we can’t avoid. But what’s the truth about internet porn in Australia?
The average age Australian kids see porn is 13. Lots of them come across it by accident, and they generally don’t like to be surprised by it online. More than half of Australian 15-20 year old guys are watching porn weekly. For girls, that number is only 14%.
So where are our kids finding porn? What are they actually watching? What is available and is there a distinction between good porn and bad porn? Or safe porn and dangerous porn? How easy is it to find the dark web, and what damage can be done to a young person who finds what’s there?
