We're a multi-award winning team of creatives who love designing stories that give audiences a deeper understanding of the world we live in. Some of our 2023 highlights include:
- Making the 6-episode podcast series "We Are Lonely" for Medibank Australia. This included audio production for each 45-min episode and standalone video content for Youtube and socials. We're excited to be working with Medibank again in 2024 for Season 3 of this amazing podcast.
- Creating a range of audio and video content for National Parks and Wildlife Service tours.
- Making short video documentaries exploring the history, culture and community of the Coffs Coast. This included the preservation and history of the South Solitary Island Lighthouse Optic and also a variety of community curator projects showcased in the new Yarilla Museum and Gallery.

Liz Keen
Executive Producer Audio
Liz has presented live radio; produced documentaries for ABC radio; and has been the Digital Producer at Four Corners. Since joining Headline in 2018 she produced the groundbreaking 6-part documentary podcast, We Are Lonely for Medibank and also produced the multi-award winning podcast The Long Haul. She also produced the award-nominated podcast After The Disaster working with The Red Cross and the University of Melbourne.
Simon Portus
Creative Director
Simon is a multi-award winning director and producer with a background in film, television and audio production. He produced the award-winning podcast series The Long Haul and also produced and directed the television series Wild Kitchen for ABC TV. In 2023 he produced audio and video content for the 6-part documentary podcast series "We Are Lonely" for Medibank.
Katerina Skoumbas
Producer
Katerina has 24 years experience in creative project management. She has worked on cultural programming, marketing strategy, audience development, community engagement, sponsorship, production and broadcasting. She has produced the award-winning podcast Makers x Traders Audio Trail, Whale Chorus Theatre's Voices of Joan 2023 season and consulted on New Annual's Global Gathering event in Sept 2023.
Cara O'Brien
Producer
After working for BBC in London for over 15 years, Cara moved to Australia and has worked as an independent podcast producer on series that include: An Audible Original, 'Make Anxiety Your Superpower, with Sarah Wilson', BBC Radio 2's 'Friends Will Be Friends' and 'Forbidden History' which was translated into seven other languages.
